Caminho português de Santiago pela costa

 Olá
My name is Tomáš Diera.
Saturday, 12 of April at night, you provide your house and meal to me and my friends, for that I would like to thank you once again.
Before we went back to road, you asked for a report of the situation that preceded our meeting.
Then, in my opinion, it was unpreparedness, but on the other hand, among all way to Santiago there should be house for pilgrims, and it was, except for our third day of walk... by Oceanside walk. Maybe we were too slow or we miss it. I do not know! A priest, in Viana do Castelo, told us that nearest pilgrim hostel was not too far.
And just out of curiosity what happened after 12 of April.
We arrived to Caminha early, and found an Albergue for 5 €. Then continue to Valença. Martin and Monika (tall guy and tall girl (:D) was too tired, and hitchhiked the last 3 km.
Morning in Valença, Martin decided to go by train to Redondela and rest for one day, but when we arrived to Redondela, in the afternoon, Martin was too lazy to look for an Albergue, and everything, except expensive hotels, were full. Then, I just decide to sleep outside in the park. We took all our clothes and sleep... apart, in the hard ground..

No one complained about anything. Next to last day we went to Briallos, where we met a lot of pilgrims, and stayed for 6 €. Than we continue, the last 45 Km, to Santiago.
Red-haired girl was desperate again because arrow pointing to Santiago disappeared and we could not find accommodation and, honestly, every one of us was very disappointed with Santiago. Too many people and everything... After many streets and questions, at midnight, we found a really big hostel, and slept for 12€.
In the morning we walked around the sights, then we took a train to Porto but, unfortunately, it was Sunday, and there were no busses to Bragança and all the hostels were full. Late in the night we found a 2 stars hotel for 55€ for all, with breakfast. We slept in really, really small room, but all of us were happy because “we did it”.
For me it was an unbelievable experience.
Best Regards
Tomáš Diera

Adeus! Até mais ver!
